Deputy Registrar and Head of the Registration Department at IMMARBE's Head Office

Annette Garel, a Belizean national, joined IMMARBE in 1994 and has served in various administrative capacities for the past 8 years. She was appointed by the Government of Belize as Deputy Registrar in February 2000. Mrs. Garel holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration and is also a qualified ISO 9000 Lead Assessor. She is a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, USA.

Annette Garel has extensive experience in IMMARBE’s registration matters and has successfully headed the Registration Department at Head Office. As Deputy Registrar she closely monitors the performance of all designated offices so as to ensure the registry’s quality objectives are attained.

As the Head of the Registration Deptartment she overseas all matters relating to the registration of ships.
